I wish to acknowledge you all for the interest you have shown toward the Mana Movement, it is through your support that our future in Aotearoa will look brighter and more positive for our people and most importantly for our mokopuna.
This email is to invite you all to join us in a local hui which will be hosted by Mana Rangatahi from the Hauraki-Waikato region. The important details are as follows:
Date: Tuesday 30 August 2011
Venue: Te Whare o Te Ata/ 60A Sare Cres, Fairfield
Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm (sharp)
Chairperson: Maria Rahui (Hauraki-Waikato interim Rangatahi Rep)
We will be having a shared kai.
The Agenda Items have been set accordingly:
- Whakawhanaugatanga
- Minutes from previous meeting
- Brief korero about Mana (what Mana means to rangatahi, what they stand for etc and who are some key players in the movement).
- A brief rangatahi report/update
- Electing in Interim Committee
- Finalising the Branch
- Campaigning Strategies
- Fundraising Schemes
- Our local nominated candidates, (who will we support?)
My apologies for the inconvenience that this short notice may cause. Part of the development of the MANA movement has meant that the pace in which it moves is so fast that sometimes it requires us all to have our fingers on the pulse so that we can ensure our success come the election day. I thank you all for your understanding.
Nga mihi, Maria Rahui.
